Application Procedure

  1. Hard copies of application forms are obtainable from Finance Revenue Section at Kabundaire campus in Fort Portal or from any of our information centres across the country after payment of an application fee to the University Account in Centenary, UBA, Stanbic or KCB Bank using Mountains of the Moon University paying-in-bank slips.

  4. Postgraduate application form costs UGX. 50,000/= (Ugandan applicants) and US. $ 20 dollars (International Applicants).
  5. Undergraduate application form is at a cost of UGX. 30,000/= (Ugandan applicants) and US.$ 20 dollars (International Applicants)

  7. Completed application forms should be returned to the Office of the Registrar Academic at Kabundaire campus in Fort Portal and must be accompanied by relevant certified copies of certificates and academic transcripts or can be posted through the address below:

Admission Entry Requirements

Masters and Postgraduate Diploma Programs

The enrolment for Masters and Postgraduate Diploma Programs will be open to students who are holders of at least a second class degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution in Uganda or any other country.

Undergraduate Degree Programs

Undergraduate degree programs are open to the following category of applicants;
a) Direct entry from Schools – Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least five passes and at least two relevant principal passes at A’level obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent
b) Mature age entry – should be aged 25 years and above and should have passed the mature age entry examinations with at least a 50% mark.
c) Diploma obtained at distinction or credit level in the relevant field from a recognized institution in Uganda or any other country.
d) Bridging course for students who have done their secondary education outside Uganda

Diploma Programs

Entry into an ordinary diploma program requires a minimum of five passes at UCE obtained at the same sitting and one relevant principal pass at UACE or its equivalent.

Certificate Programs

For entry into a certificate program, one should have a minimum of five passes at UCE obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.
