Nursing is an increasing complex and exciting field, one the fastest growing segment of the health care sector.
District and Rwenzori region has shortages of nurses especially the qualified and experienced midwives as evidenced by recent recruitment in health sector and few midwives submitted in the applications for the jobs. To solve this problem, the reason to why Rwenzori School of Nursing and midwifery Kasese has to start and train the cadres.
ROSNMKA intends to expand training centers to other Districts in the Country aiming at service delivery to benefit the community.

Entry Requirements
- Completion or possession of an O-Level Certificate with passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Must be 18 years and/or above.
- Must have been in school within the previous 3 years before applying.
Candidates MUST satisfy the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) and the Ministry of Health (MoH) interview panel.
Certificate in Midwifery [CM]
Entry Requirements
- Completion or possession of an O-Level Certificate with passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Must be 18 years and/or above.
