Busitema University is a multi-campus Public University located in Eastern Uganda. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill vacant positions at the University.

ACADEMIC POSITIONS:
FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES DEPARTMENT OF NURSING:
1. Position: Senior Lecturer, Salary Scale: M5 (1 Post)
Requirements:
a) Masters in Nursing from a recognized University.
b) Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a recognized University.
c) Three (3) years of University teaching experience or relevant working experience in a reputable Organization or Industry.
d) Registered with Uganda Nursing and Midwifery Council.
e) Four Recognized Publications in the area of specialization, two (2) of which as First/ Corresponding/ Senior Author.
f) Ph.D. is an added advantage.
DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY:
2. Position: Lecturer, Salary Scale: M6.1 (1 Post)
Requirements:
a) Masters degree in Medicine (Surgery) Plan A, from a recognized University.
b) Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from a recognized University
c) Must be registered with Uganda Medical and Dental Council.
d) Three (3) years of University teaching experience or relevant working experience in a reputable Organization or Industry.
FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND EDUCATION DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION:
3. Position: Lecturer, Salary Scale: M6.1 (1 Post)
Requirements:
a) Masters Degree in Education specializing in Curriculum Studies Plan A, from a recognized University
b) First Class or Second Upper division Bachelors degree in Education from a recognized University or a Ph.D.
c) Must have registered for Doctoral studies in Education majoring in Curriculum Studies from a recognized University. (Evidence of Registration must be attached)
d) Three (3) years of University teaching experience or relevant working experience in a reputable Organization or Industry. (Experience not required for Ph.D. holders).
