Uganda Management Institute Minimum Entry Requirement

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMAS (SELECTION CRITERIA)

POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMAS:

A good degree from a recognised University, OR a recognised relevant professional qualification and working experience of least one year.

POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Holders of a Bachelors Degree from an institution of higher learning recognized and accredited by NCHE or Professional Chartered qualification, and working experience of at least one year, and basic computer literacy skills and use of MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR DIRECT MASTERS:

Applicants shall be Holders of a Bachelor’s degree from an Institution of higher learning recognized by NCHE or Professional Chartered qualification, and working experience of at least two years.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

(i) An honours Bachelor’s Degree from an Institution of higher learning recognized by NCHE
(ii) A professional qualification deemed equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized professional body.
(iii) Working experience of two years
(iv) Passing of a GMAT is mandatory.
GMAT will be administered on 13th May 2019 at 4.00 p.m. at UMI Main Campus for ONLY shortlisted applicants. For Mbarara, Gulu and Mbale the date for the GMAT will be confirmed after sufficient numbers have been realised.
