UBTEB to award 600 students at UTC-Bushenyi
Since 2011, UBTEB started conducting examinations for Business, Technical, Vocational and Specialized professions in Uganda. The Board has made significant improvements in the mode of assessment including continuous assessment, real life projects and summative assessment. UTC-Bushenyi is one of the training institutions that have exhibited excellence in innovation and training with production.
To this fact, the Ministry of Education and Sports directed that UBTEB should continuously be the awarding body and officiate at the graduation ceremonies. This started during the graduation ceremony at UTC-Kichwamba in 2018.
This year, UTC- Bushenyi will celebrate its 12th graduation ceremony on Friday April 12, 2019 at the College grounds. The Principal of the College Mr. Mukwasiibwe Silver in his communication to UBTEB Secretariat emphasized the duty to award. “As the examining body you will be required to award Diplomas to over 600 successful candidates who completed in the 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 academic years” Mukwasiibwe stated.
The Board wishes to congratulate the management, staff and students of UTC-Bushenyi upon the 12th graduand. We look forward for more milestones to celebrate together.
