UMU Call for applications for short evening courses in the Faculty of Science

The Registrar, Uganda Martyrs University invites applications for the following evening short courses in the Faculty of Science – Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at our Lubaga campus from Monday to Thursday every week for 19 teaching weeks.

Courses include:

  1. Introduction to Computer Science & IT
  2. Internet technologies & Web Page authoring
  3. Digital Electronics & Computer System Architecture
  4. Programming Methodology I, II, & III
  5. Operating Systems
  6. Object-Oriented Programming, I & II
  7. Database Planning, Design, and Management I & II
  8. Programming Algorithms and Data Structures
  9. Systems Analysis and Design
  10. Web-based database Development
  11. Computer Communication Networks & System Administration
  12. CISCO I, II, III, & IV
  13. Software Engineering
  14. Managing IT Projects

Other courses include:

  1. English Language Grammar
  2. Research Methods
  3. Science, Technology, and Ethics

Entry requirements:   Two (2) principal passes at A-level
How to apply:  Pick an application from Lubaga Campus and/or  Nkozi Main Campus
