Uganda Pentecostal University Admission / Entry Requirements

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

International applicants

International applicants must first have their qualifications translated and then equated by Uganda National Examinations Board. Admissions will then be given when they are found to meet the requirements for each programme described below.

Undergraduate Degrees Requirements

Applications for the Bachelor’s Degree are required to have passed their Advanced Level Examinations with at least any two principle passes or must have a Diploma from a recognized Institution of learning or equivalent qualification awarded by a recognized National Examinations body.

Applications for Diploma Course are required to have passed their Advanced Examinations with at least one principal pass or equivalent.

Continuing Students previously registered at other recognized Universities who wish to transfer to Uganda Pentecostal University are welcome

Certificate Entry Requirements

Entry requirements to an ordinary certificate programme

The minimum entry requirements for admission to an ordinary certificate programme are:

Uganda Certificate of Education (O’Level) with a minimum of three credits obtained at the same sitting.

Diploma Entry Requirements

Entry requirements to a diploma programmes

The minimum entry requirements for admission to a diploma programme are:

  1. Uganda Certificate of Education (O’Level) with a minimum of five passes
  2. Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (A ‘Level) with a minimum of one principle pass and two subsidiary passes obtained at the same sitting or
  3. A certificate from an institution of higher learning recognised by the National Council of Higher Education

Continuing Students previously registered at other recognized Universities who wish to transfer to Uganda Pentecostal University are welcome
