Uganda Christian University Fees Payment Procedure

Bank Draft

The University accepts ONLY Bank Drafts payable to Uganda Christian University. The bank drafts MUST be deposited at the University Cash Office. Direct Cheque deposits to the university accounts are NOT accepted.

Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs)

EFTs to the university bank accounts are acceptable on condition that the student’s Access Numberand Names are clearly indicated on the statement.

Please ensure that the sending Bank captures these details clearly.

NOTE

Direct cash payments to the University Cash Office are not accepted. Cash should be deposited on the university bank accounts above. Banking Slips for Uganda Shilling and US Dollar accounts in Stanbic Mukono can be obtained from the bank at Mukono, or from the Cash Office at the University. However, deposits may be made through any Stanbic Bank branch in the country. Please ensure that deposits are made using Uganda Christian University customized bankslips.

The student access number is mandatory. Student must ensure that their Access Number is correctly filled onto all copies of the bankslip. Any deposit without a correct Access Number will not be posted to the student’s account.

Students must ensure that they keep all their copies of each bankslip safely because they will be referred to during Accounts Week. This is an exercise carried out Every semester to ensure that all students accounting records are in order. All Bankslips from the very beginning of a students’ tenure at UCU will be required for this exercise.
