Isbat University Admission Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Applied Information Technology (B.Sc AIT)

Completion of O level (UCE) with 5 passes at Credit level OR its equivalent
Completion of A level (UACE) with 2 Principal Passes and 2 Subsidiary Passes. The Principal Passes must be in Mathematics & any other science paper (Physics, Chemistry / Biology / computer studies)
Equivalent Secondary Education equated to Uganda Advanced level (A Level / UACE) is a must for all foreign Students.
Students who complete their O level – and a two year Certificate in IT / CS / Business computing with Mathematics as a compulsory paper are eligible – however all such students must write a Mathematics entry test to qualify for admissions.

Bachelor of Science in Multimedia & Animation (B.Sc MMA)

Completion of O level (UCE) with 5 passes at Credit level, one being Mathematics
Completion of A level with 2 Principal passes and 2 Subsidiary passes – One of the Principal pass preferably in Arts/Fine Arts or any design related subjects.
Equivalent Secondary Education equated to Uganda Advanced level (A Level / UACE) is a must for all foreign Students.
Students who complete their O level – and a two year Certificate in IT / CS / Business computing / Multimedia / Animation from an accredited University / Tertiary Institution are eligible for admissions.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Completion of O level (UCE) with 5 passes at Credit level OR its equivalent
Completion of A level (UACE) with 2 Principal Passes and 2 Subsidiary Passes
Equivalent Secondary Education equated to Uganda Advanced level (A Level / UACE) is a must for all foreign Students.
Students who complete their O level – and a two year Certificate in Business administration / business studies / Accounting from an accredited University / Tertiary institution are eligible for admissions

Bachelor of Commerce – Information Systems (B.Com-IS)

Completion of O level (UCE) with 5 passes at Credit level OR its equivalent
Completion of A level (UACE) with 2 Principal Passes and 2 Subsidiary Passes
Equivalent Secondary Education equated to Uganda Advanced level (A Level / UACE) is a must for all foreign Students.
Students who complete their O level – and a two year Certificate in Business administration / business studies / Accounting from an accredited University / Tertiary institution are eligible for admissions.
